Men's Club Breakfast: January 7, 2018

We are very  fortunate to have our own Dr. Evan Klass as a presenter at the January 7, 2018 Men's Club Breakfast at 9:00 a.m. discussing the UNR Medical School Project called ECHO. Evan Klass, M.D. is Associate Dean, Office of Statewide Initiatives and Associate Professor, Dept. of Internal Medicine at UNR. This project is very important to our native American population and rural residents living in Nevada. Formally, project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes), has recently added new clinics in cardiology, pediatric endocrinology, medication assisted therapy for substance use disorder, as well as a unique school-based behavioral health program. Project ECHO uses teleconferencing technology to connect specialists at UNR Medical School with primary care clinicians in rural and urban under-served communities.

Dr. Klass has been helping coordinate this program for seven years. It is a critical medical delivery program to our rural neighbors. Please join us by RSVP here.

Also, the Men's Club of Temple Emanu-El has invited us to participate in their blood drive on January 14 from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

They would like Temple Sinai to join them to help make this their most productive blood drive to date and to help save lives. United Blood Donor Services will set up a donor station in their Social Room. Anyone wanting to sign up to donate blood should email Harriet at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call her at 775-825-5600.

Please remember we welcome men and women, members and non-members of either the Men's Club or the Temple Sinai Congregation to all of our events and breakfast meetings -- but an RSVP is required.

We look forward to seeing you,

Steve Myerson, President, Temple Sinai Men's club
Gary Jacobson, VP
Ken Roberts, Treasurer
Steve Weidman, Secretary
