Temple Sinai is committed to the full inclusion of Jews of all races and ethnicities and welcomes any Jews of Color who make up almost 20% of the Jewish community (citation: Bechol Lashon). To aid in this inclusion, we rarely hire armed guards (we prefer other forms of security), and when we do, they all get an orientation given to them by the rabbi, reminding them that white supremacists are the real enemies of the Jewish community and that the people of color who approach our doors are our congregants.
