Calling All Sisters!
A Message from Rabbi Sara Zober

When I was a congregant in Lancaster, PA, I spent so much of my time with the women of its Sisterhood. They became my friends through countless retreats, fundraisers, dinners, and Lilith Salons. I’ve kept in touch with them as we moved around the country and to Israel, and many of them still keep tabs on me here at the other end of the country.

On May 5 at 3:30 pm, we will have an opportunity to brainstorm about what a new Sisterhood could look like at Temple Sinai. We will consider the following questions:

  • What does a women’s space look like and need in 2019?
  • What gifts can we give to the synagogue and our community at large?
  • Are we interested in affiliating with the WRJ (Women of Reform Judaism), our national Sisterhood movement?

If you are interested in joining us, whether you’ve been a part of a Sisterhood before or not, please come on Sunday afternoon to talk and brainstorm and get in on the ground level with us. Please RSVP by replying to this email to let me know you’re coming.

L’shalom,
Rabbi Sara Zober
