First and foremost, my sincere thanks to all who attended the Nevada Prayer Breakfast or called with good wishes or otherwise celebrated the event and my receiving the Vision Award. Your support was appreciated more than I can say. You all are the reason it is a blessing to serve as this congregation’s Rabbi.

Oy vais mir! Can it actually be that today is already May???? Time is flying by . . . in just two months we will welcome Sinai’s rabbi, Ethan Bair! In the meantime, there is so much going on here!!

Please support our B’nai Mitzvah – four of which are coming up, starting with this weekend. All the particulars are listed in this eblast and on our website.

And don’t forget Shavuot. If our Shavuot study program is to take place, we must have reservations. And the study will be most meaningful if all have done the bit of advance reading that is available from Mike in our Temple office and online HERE. So if you’re planning to come, make those reservations and get the materials now. Shavuot is just two weeks away!

And other than that . . . Well, is this just about the loveliest weather you’ve ever seen? Or at least “ever seen” so far this year? Go out and enjoy the gorgeous examples of God’s creation that abound in our area. Baruch atah, Adonai Eloheinu, Melech haolam, shekachah lo b’olamo. Praise to you, Adonai our God, Sovereign of the universe, whose world is filled with beauty.
