Holiday Events & Celebrations

At Temple Sinai, the Jewish calendar is at the heart of our communal life. We gather to observe, celebrate, and reflect on the full cycle of Jewish holidays—both major and most minor—through meaningful worship, joyful events, and engaging educational programs.

Our community comes together for Rosh HaShanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Simchat Torah, Chanukah, Tu B’Shevat, Purim, Passover, Shavuot, and Tisha B’Av, each with its own spirit, customs, and significance. From solemn moments of introspection to festive celebrations filled with song, food, and laughter, we strive to make every holiday an opportunity for connection and renewal.

Our Sinai School marks each holiday with special Family Day programming that invites students and their families to experience Jewish tradition through hands-on learning, storytelling, music, and art. These experiences help bring the rhythm and meaning of the Jewish year into our homes and hearts, nurturing a shared sense of purpose and belonging for all ages.

Whether you’re a lifelong member or celebrating your first Jewish holiday, there’s a place for you at our table—and in our community.
