Torah Study

Torah Study at Temple Sinai

Torah Study, led by Rabbi Sara Zober, meets every Shabbat morning at 10:00 am (Pacific Time) via Zoom. Together, we explore the Torah verse by verse—unpacking its wisdom, debating its meanings, and discovering its relevance to our lives today. Our group includes both congregants and visitors, Jews and non-Jews, all joining in an open and thoughtful conversation. From time to time, sessions are also led by Rabbi Benjamin Zober, Rabbi Emerita Myra Soifer, and other guests.

Each week, we share a summary of our discussions here so you can follow along—whether you’d like to catch up or are simply curious. Special thanks go to Dr. Deborah Achtenberg, who began this blog and continues to contribute nearly every week, helping us capture and share the study sessions led by Rabbi Sara for everyone’s benefit.
